GEO content checklist for service pages

Use this checklist to turn a service page into a useful decision resource. The goal is to make the information clear to customers and accurately represented in search—not to add an artificial layer of AI-specific keywords.

Purpose and audience

Name the service and explain the problem it addresses. State who it suits and where the scope may not be appropriate.

Choose a primary enquiry or purchase action so the page has a clear purpose.

Answer coverage

Explain the process, deliverables, prerequisites and factors that affect scope or price.

Answer actual customer questions with complete sentences. Remove unfinished snippets and repeated promotional paragraphs.

Evidence and accuracy

Verify expert information, examples, contact details and service claims with the business owner.

Explain the limits of examples and estimates. Do not use borrowed results as if they were verified proof of this business’s performance.

Structure and accessibility

Use one descriptive page title, clear section headings, short paragraphs and relevant lists or tables.

Keep core explanations in readable page text, make links descriptive and ensure mobile readers can use comparison tables.

Packages and supporting detail

Link a price to a page that explains that exact package: inclusions, quantities where published, billing information where supplied and a clear enquiry route.

Link related resources to complete articles rather than displaying unfinished excerpts without a destination.

Publication checks

Confirm technical access, indexability and appropriate snippet controls. Check canonical and internal links.

Ensure applicable structured data agrees with the visible page and review the content after business details change.
